Unveiling the future of the remanufacturing industry 

Rematec Amsterdam, the leading global trade show for remanufacturing, will focus on topics that highlight the ongoing evolution of the industry and provide insights into its future direction, including cleaning and testing, software development, monitoring and diagnostics, and advancements in electric and hybrid vehicle technology. Co-organized with APRA (Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association), the event will take place at RAI Amsterdam from 8-10 April 2025.

The showfloor at Rematec 2025 will feature 175 exhibitors showcasing the latest advancements in remanufacturing. Companies such as Borg Automotive, Autocraft Solutions, CoremanNet, Robert Bosch, Valeo Service, and Encory will be present, highlighting their latest innovations.

Remanufacturing and the Circular Economy

Remanufacturing plays a central role in the circular economy, a role that is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. This year’s event will feature a dedicated theatre on battery remanufacturing and explore the challenges of reverse logistics—both essential for developing more sustainable and efficient processes in the automotive sector’s circular economy.

RMTC Congress: Stretching the Product Lifecycle

Collaboration is key to the future of remanufacturing, as the industry engages with stakeholders from across the spectrum—government agencies, automakers, technology providers, universities, research institutes, and transportation operators. The new RMTC Congress, held alongside Rematec Amsterdam, will facilitate high-level knowledge exchange and discussion on critical topics such as future-oriented design, rethinking business models, and the role of automation in remanufacturing.
