Nominations announced for the Remanufacturer of the Year Awards

The jury of the Remanufacturer of the Year Awards has recently selected 10 nominees that have made outstanding contribution to remanufacturing. Since the inception of the RotY Awards, the prize has celebrated some of the industry's most distinguished leaders and is widely regarded as a recognition of excellence.

New is the Public Choice Award, where visitors can vote for their favorite nominee on the Rematec Amsterdam website until 30 March. The winners of the RotY Awards 2025 will be announced on 8 April, the first day of Rematec Amsterdam.

A word from the jury

Peter Bartel (RotY jury president) comments: “The “Remanufacturer of the Year Awards” (RotY Awards) has a 20-year long history. In 2005, Jens Lindholm from Holger Christiansen was the first winner. Over the years the RotY Awards has developed. From 2017 onwards outstanding persons and companies were awarded in different categories. In 2025 we have three categories: the “Best Reman Company”, the “Best Reman Ambassador” and the “Public Choice Award.”

The process was started by asking widely for nominations. We have a representative list of nominated clear heroes in our automotive remanufacturing industry. I personally was surprised about the strong participation in this process. Within the jury we discuss and will finally vote out of the nominees the winner in the category “Best Reman Company” and “Best Reman Ambassador.” For the winner in the category “Public Choice Award” we ask the public to vote. It is the first time that a winner of the RotY Award is elected by the public. This is to be as transparent as possible.”
